Recruiter (Automotive Industry)

HRT Consulting is seeking a motivated Recruiter with expertise in the automotive industry to join our growing team. As a Recruiter for the Automotive sector, you will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting top talent for roles across engineering, manufacturing, design, R&D, and more within the automotive space. You will partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and ensure we bring in the best candidates to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles in the automotive industry, including technical and non-technical positions.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract and engage qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other channels.
  • Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to ensure a strong match between candidates and job requirements.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific role requirements, team dynamics, and organizational culture.
  • Maintain an up-to-date candidate pipeline using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and regularly provide recruitment updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on trends in the automotive industry, including technological advancements and talent availability.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, gathering feedback, and coordinating offer extensions.
  • Negotiate compensation packages in collaboration with HR and hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry contacts to foster a talent network.
  • Support employer branding efforts by representing the company at industry events, career fairs, and on social media.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive sector, including key trends, technologies, and skill requirements.
  • Proven ability to source, attract, and assess candidates for a variety of technical and non-technical automotive roles.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for roles in automotive engineering, manufacturing, design, and R&D.
  • A strong network within the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with labor market trends and employment regulations specific to the automotive sector.
